A  public media web video series being developed about “the world of digital mapping and how it is changing the way we think, behave, and interact”. It is being used to educate the public and politicians in the US. At the moment there is just the first introductory edition/trailer but they are gathering funds to create a series with the next one due in September. Well worth watching.

My 83 year old Mum told me about this three part series from the BBC, fascinating applications of spatial technology and data for the common man (or woman).  They have broken it down into lots of shorter clips.  There are too many to list here but look at the goldmining one.
